Vittor & Associates Corporate Headquarters and laboratory facilities are located in Mobile, Alabama. The Mobile facility consists of 13,000 square feet of office and laboratory space, including sample processing and taxonomic laboratories. The close proximity of this office to a major airport, interstate highway system, and the Port of Mobile facilitates rapid mobilization for projects throughout the central and eastern United States. Vittor & Associates laboratory facilities in Mobile are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment in order to provide accurate and efficient analysis of samples. A curated zoological museum of more than 4000 specimens of fish and invertebrates is maintained at our Mobile laboratory. These represent collections from fauna surveys conducted throughout the continental US and abroad in marine, estuarine and freshwater habitats. Our library contains more than 2,500 volumes, 25,000 reprints of the scientific literature, and subscriptions to relevant scientific journals. Our office equipment includes word processing, desktop publishing and multimedia (video and digital imaging) capabilities. Vittor & Associates also has a fully staffed GIS department.
